Books – Muhammad Amin:
A few hours separate us from the start of daylight savings time, which is scheduled to apply tomorrow, Friday, at exactly twelve o’clock in the morning, to continue working until the last Thursday of next October.
Ad space
Some people may suffer from sleep disturbances at the beginning of daylight saving time, and the reason is due to the body’s biological clock being affected by the change that will occur in time, as the hour will be advanced by 60 minutes, according to Dr. Sherif Hatta, a public health consultant.

Hetta pointed out that it is easy to organize sleep hours to fit in with daylight savings time and avoid insomnia, provided that the following instructions are followed:
– Lie in bed early, to ensure adequate sleep, ranging from 6 to 8 hours.
Take a warm shower before bed to calm the nerves and relax the muscles of the body.
– Avoid coffee, tea and Nescafe at night, because these drinks contain a high percentage of caffeine, which causes insomnia.
– Eat a light dinner, because fatty foods may prevent a person from sleeping easily, because the stomach has great difficulty in digesting them at night, which leads to acidity, constipation and bloating.
Do not drink water before going to bed, to avoid waking up in the middle of sleep to urinate.
Eat foods and drinks that help sleep, such as milk and bananas.
– Keep the mobile phone away from the bed, because using it before bed may cause insomnia.
