From October 12, Tinkoff Bank customers will be able to receive SWIFT transfers in dollars and euros from banks in only three CIS countries – Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as from the People’s Bank of Uzbekistan. This is stated in materials on the credit institution’s website.
“Where can I get a SWIFT transfer in dollars and euros: from all banks in Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as from the People’s Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Transfers from other countries will not be credited, ”the Tinkoff Bank website says. The message notes that transfers to pay for goods or services are acceptable.
In Armenia, the sender bank for incoming SWIFT transfers can be any bank in the country, the correspondent bank can be Ardshinbank and Unibank CJSC. In Azerbaijan, the sending bank is any bank in the country, the correspondent bank is the International Bank of Azerbaijan. in Uzbekistan, both the sending bank and the correspondent bank can only be the People’s Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
SWIFT transfer can be received to the Tinkoff card account in any currency. If the transfer currency matches the currency of the account to which the money is being transferred, the transfer will be credited without conversion. If the currencies are different, then there will be a conversion at the rate of the bank.
Commission — 3% of the amount of the incoming SWIFT transfer. The fee is debited in the currency of the account to which the money is being transferred. The minimum commission is $200, €200, £200 or 15 thousand rubles, but not more than the transfer amount.
Outgoing SWIFT transfers are limited by Tinkoff Bank from July 6th. The credit institution explained this by saying that it cannot provide an acceptable level of service “due to the daily tightening requirements of Western counterparties and a decrease in the number of payments processed by them from Russian clients.”
