Tinka Resources Completes Successful 11,000 Meter Drill Program in Pasco Region and Discovers High-Grade Zinc Mineralization

Tinka Resources Limited reported that it has successfully completed its 11,000 meter drill program in I don’t want toPasco region, which began in mid-2022.

The five drilling rigs served to confirm the resources of Ayawilca West. In addition, the company reported that in Ayawilca Sur the massive sulfide mineralization of zinc of very high grade is concentrated in a folded limestone at shallow depth.

“This discovery has the potential to be a ‘starting mine’ that could provide early recovery”, affirmed Graham Carman, president and CEO of Tinka Tinka’s, who described his drilling program as one of the most successful in the Americas region, according to a statement sent this Thursday to the Superintendence of the Stock Market (SMV).

The company will await mineral resource updates for the Ayawilca Zinc Zone and Tin Zone deposits, which will be reported in the third quarter of 2023. Meanwhile, low-impact exploration will continue at Ayawilca and the nearby copper and gold project Silvia.

“The 2022-23 drill program has been one of the most successful drill programs since Tinka began exploring at Ayawilca. Recent results highlight the quality of the zinc mineralization in I don’t want to in terms of grade and thickness and provide great confidence in the geological resource”, pointed out the CEO.

Drill results from Ayawilca Oeste:

Hole A23-216: 97.9 meters grading 8.8% zinc and 16 g/t silver from 197.90 meters depth, including or 35.8 meters grading 19.0% zinc and 35 g/t silver from 260.0 meters depth, including § 13.5 meters with 25.3% zinc and 44 g/t silver from a depth of 265.5 meters.

Hole A23-217: 71.9 meters grading 5.5% zinc and 8 g/t silver from 186.1 meters depth, including or 45.8 meters grading 6.4% zinc and 10 g/t silver from 210.4 meters depth, including § 4.85 meters with 15.2% zinc and 23 g/t silver from a depth of 210.4 meters.

Hole A23-213: 30.4 meters grading 6.0% zinc from 180.0 meters depth, including o 1.2 meters grading 37.2% zinc from 207.3 meters depth, and • 30.5 meters grading 5.1% zinc from 260.0 meters depth.

Hole A22-211: 38.15 meters grading 6.3% zinc, 1.1% lead and 28 g/t silver from 151.0 meters, including or 6.6 meters grading 9.2% zinc, 5.2% lead and 81 g/t silver from 182.55 meters.

Hole A22-214: 13.1 meters with 3.7% zinc from 243.9 meters deep

gets permission

Tinka notified that it received approval for the extension of the environmental permit (EIAsd) of Ayawilca for a period of three additional years, until May 2026.

The amended and extended EIAsd has combined the previous two individual permits at Ayawilca and Colquipucro into one large permit that also incorporates several undrilled exploration targets as well as potential future mine components.

The successful approval of the EIAsd, according to the company, is an important milestone for the project, as it will allow them to continue with their exploration and development plans in the medium term.
