It was regarding a gang that drugged the man to steal large sums of money. He himself recounted the case that occurred in April.

Media in Colombia reported a bad experience that a man had during a Tinder date, held in a bar in the city of Bogota. Over there, two women drugged him and took them to another place to steal his life savings.

The affected was Daniel Tobar, a musician from the city who on April 9 came to a meeting he would have with a woman he met through the popular application.

According to what he told the portal Infobaethe situation became confused when a friend of the woman he had met arrived at the venue, who joined the conversation.

Tobar states that it is very likely that the women put some substance in his glass, once he went to the bathroom. This because, just following continuing to drink, he began to lose consciousness and will.

As little as he remembers, the man told the police that he was taken to a house by a group of several individuals, who had beaten him and forced him to hand over his bank passwords.

“I remember that I wanted to leave and the criminals were very violent. They gave me fists in the chest and with sticks in the back, They pinched my chest with pliers so I would give them the keys, and I know that I fell from so many blows that they gave me, ”he explained.

The police report indicates that the gang tried to contact relatives of Tobar, in order to collect ransom for kidnapping, but that might not materialize.

However, they stole all the money in his checking accounts, including his life savings. “I almost had a heart attack. I mightn’t breathe, I was dizzy, I felt like the world was crashing down on me.” detailed.

The next morning the man was left on the side of a road. After a few hours he was taken to a health center by unknown individuals who found him.

At the scene, they performed blood tests, which showed that he had high doses of benzodiazepines, which are used as sedatives.

The case is being investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office of that country, who have already warned that these actions in a Tinder appointment are more common than is believed.
