The steps to make cookies without cookie cutters

If you are lucky enough to have a pastry robot to prepare the dough, do not deprive yourself of it. Otherwise, all you need is a bowl and your thoroughly washed hands.

In a salad bowl, or in the bowl of your food processor, mix all the ingredients together. Form a ball with the dough then separate it into 3 equal parts. Using a rolling pin, roll out the first piece of dough on a floured work surface. Spread a generous layer of spread over the dough and sprinkle with pecans. Roll the dough to form a long sausage. With a knife, cut slices every 1.5 cm in this pudding. Repeat the operation with the other two pieces of dough. Place the sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake 25-30 mins at 175°C.

Take out of the oven and let cool then dust with icing sugar. The cookies are ready to be devoured!
