Timar champion of the week at the Casablanca Stock Exchange

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed the week from March 28 to April 1, 2022 on the rise, its main index, the Masi, gaining 1.91% to 12,843.52 points. The Morocco Stock Index 20 (MSI20), which reflects the price performance of the 20 most liquid companies, gained 2.2% to 1,039.96 points and the Casablanca ESG 10, the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) benchmark index. , improved by 2.25% to 965.16 points.

At the end of this week, 18 sector indices closed on a positive note, once morest 5 in negative territory. The real estate index (+8.93%) recorded the best weekly performance, ahead of leisure and hotels (+4.02%) and building and building materials (+3.25%). On the other hand, the “finance company and other financial activities” sector showed the strongest decline (-1.33%), followed by those of portfolio companies – Holdings (-1.30%) and pharmaceutical industry (-0.49%).

The overall volume amounted to more than 579 million dirhams (MDH). On the podium of the most active stocks are Attijariwafa Bank with a transactional volume of 51.47 MDH, Itissalat Al-Maghrib (45.02 MDH) and Alliances (44 MDH).

Market capitalization exceeded 669 billion dirhams (MMDH).

In terms of values, the best performances were the work of Timar (+15.15% to 150.9 DH), Alliances (+14.62% to 63.25 DH), Douja Prom Addoha (+7.56% to 7.68 DH), Auto Nejma (+7.47% to 1,999 DH) and Cartier Saada (+7.27% to 30.25 DH).

For their part, IB Maroc (-5.71% to 33 DH), Maroc Leasing (-5.48% to 364 DH), Maghrebail (-4.05% to 830 DH), M2M Group (-3.99% at 715.30) and Eqdom (-3.91% at 1,352 DH) showed the biggest drops of the week.
