The 24-year-old and 191cm tall Tim Rozman is the fensterversand.at head of the week! The Slovenian native has been part of the FÖRTHOF UHK KREMS since the summer, and before that he played at TUSEM Essen in Germany. With the Kremsern, Rozman was able to reach the 3rd round of the EHF European Cup last weekend with a clear 33:25 home win once morest GRK Tikves Kavadarci. The start of the season in the HLA MEISTERLIGA was rather bumpy. Recently, however, the Kremsers were able to win the derby once morest Hollabrunn, and now there will be a duel with HC LINZ AG tomorrow (LIVE on krone.tv). and on Saturday to meet the ALPLA HC Hard.
In the interview, Rozman tells us how he experienced promotion to the 3rd round of the EHF European Cup:
What would you have said to someone who would have predicted that you would ultimately advance so impressively to the 3rd round of the EHF European Cup?
I didn’t expect it like that because we didn’t know what to expect. It was simply a great EHF Cup experience with a great atmosphere both away and at home and a hard-fought game between two teams with the better end for us. I definitely knew we had what it took, but I didn’t expect it to be so impressive, especially in the home game.
Now you have two top games coming up (on Wednesday once morest LINZ and on Saturday once morest Hard), what expectations do you have going into the games?
It’s going to be a busy week with two top games for us, we have to pick up where we left off on Saturday. We need to bring the same fight and aggressiveness in defense if we want to score points in both games.
You only joined the team in the summer, how were you received and have you already settled in in Krems?
The boys and the whole club have really accepted me since day one. I would especially like to thank the teammates who helped me. I feel really comfortable in Krems.
What hobbies do you pursue to balance things out besides handball?
I like meeting up with friends, watching Netflix and playing other sports, especially basketball, tennis and football.
What goals do you have following professional handball?
I would like to continue working in sports following my professional career and will therefore soon start studying online to become a fitness trainer.
