In the classic regatta over five kilometers, the HTL student took an excellent 15th place on the Engelberger Aa. In the sprint, the young Dietacher achieved 24th place in the juniors. Despite strong competition and changing water levels, Briedl proved his talent.
Together with his teammates Lukas Profanter from KC Graz and Lukas Rohrmeister from KV Klagenfurt, he also finished eighth in the junior classic team ranking and seventh in the sprint team ranking. In the U23 ranking, Briedl and his colleagues Paul Winkler and Benjamin Cartellieri (both KC Graz) finished eighth in the sprint and classic team rankings.
