TikTok will pay creators with TikTok Pulse

TikTok will soon be sharing ad revenue with its creators. With TikTok Pulse, TikTok explores its first revenue sharing program with creators, public figures and media.

“This is good news for creators with 100,000 subscribers,” comments Alexandre Turcotte, digital advisor. It remains to be seen how it will be done, especially since for the moment it will only be in force in the United States. It is not known when the program will be rolled out in Canada.”

Creators with at least 100,000 subscribers will be eligible in the initial phase of this program. The platform focuses on developing monetization solutions in available marketplaces so creators feel valued and rewarded on TikTok.

“YouTube is currently the model when it comes to creator compensation,” explains Alexandre Turcotte. Instagram has also just announced new features that will allow creators to publish paid content on the platform, a bit like Only Fans. TikTok is not there yet, but she is aware that her content exists thanks to the creators. The latter are simply looking to be paid.”
