Tim Lafai: absolutely, it was a massive moment for us. That win was something special, not just because it was against the ten-time Super League champions, but because it showed the belief and resilience of this team. Deon Cross’s try in the second half was the icing on the cake, but it was a collective effort.The boys worked tirelessly, and to come away with the win at the Totally Wicked Stadium was unforgettable.It gave us the confidence to believe we could compete with the best.
Archyde: The upcoming season opener is against St helens again. What’s the mood like in the camp as you prepare for this highly anticipated clash?
Tim Lafai: The boys are buzzing, to be honest. St Helens are a top-quality side, and we know it’s going to be a tough battle. But we’ve been working hard in preseason, and we’re resolute to start the season on a high. Last year’s win gave us a blueprint, but we’re also aware that they’ll be out for revenge. It’s going to be a cracker of a game, and we’re ready for it.
