Tickets for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ go on sale today on a first-come, first-served basis

After the end of the random selection period of the first sales phase, FIFA offers fans a new opportunity to get tickets before the final draw for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. After the payment period that ended on Monday, the remaining tickets of this first phase can now be purchased at FIFA.com/tickets until 11:00 CET on the 29th of this month.

As this is a first-come, first-served sale period, fans will be able to complete their purchase immediately and should hurry to avoid any unpleasant surprises. This is the last chance for fans to get tickets before the final draw. Logically, once the pairings are revealed, the demand will increase even more. Tickets will be available for all matches, with the exception of the opening match and the final.

Fans from around the world will have the opportunity to purchase the following types of tickets:

  • These are match-specific seats, available for all matches except the opening match and grand final.

  • For those who want to follow a specific team throughout its history in Qatar, starting with the first match of the group stage.

Ticket for four stadiums

  • This new type of FIFA ticket offers fans the wonderful opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of four different stadiums on consecutive days, thanks to the fact that, in Qatar, all of them are within walking distance of each other.

Accessibility Tickets

  • They are part of any of the products of previous entries, and provide people with disabilities and reduced mobility access to facilities and adapted spaces that cover a wide variety of requirements.

The next sale phase will begin following the final draw, which will take place on April 1. Further developments will be communicated in due course. For more information on qualifying selections or draw preparations, go to FIFA.com/WorldCup.

Under FIFA’s ticketing policy, which has been in place for recent editions of the FIFA World Cup™, a special price category, category 4, has been reserved for residents of Qatar, who will be able to apply for seats starting from just 40 QAR.

Visitors from the rest of the world will benefit from the compact nature of the tournament, and will be able to reach the eight state-of-the-art stadiums without having to take more planes or change hotels. In the post-raffle sales phase, fans will have the opportunity to apply for tickets for more than one game a day in the early stages of the competition, allowing them to enjoy the experience even more.

For residents of Qatar, Visa cards are the only possible payment method, while international fans will be able to pay for tickets with Visa and other accepted payment cards. Visa cards are the preferred payment method at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Accommodation and Hayya card (fan card)

Once they have paid for their tickets, fans will be able to book accommodation and apply for their Hayya card, which will also serve as an entry permit to Qatar for international fans traveling to the tournament. All spectators, regardless of whether they are Qatari residents or foreigners, will need the Hayya card along with the match ticket to enter the stadium.
