Tianjin launches city-wide nucleic acid test

The municipal and district-level commerce departments activated their emergency interventions to supply the market. They have also organized more than 40 supermarkets and commodity markets for the stable supply of necessities to neighborhoods that are under closed management.

A number of catering companies will also offer hot meals to frontline epidemic control workers, the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce said.

Currently, the market supply for basic necessities in the city is plentiful, with stable prices, the office added.

Migrant workers between Beijing and Tianjin have been advised to work from home, according to the Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Management. The center also reminded residents of Beijing not to travel to Tianjin unless necessary.
