“This Saturday at the end of the followingnoon and during the evening, a new rainy-stormy wave will come up from France and pass through our regions. It will be particularly active in the center and/or east of the country. We are forecasting locally intense and stormy rains or showers, which might lead to accumulations of more than 10 litres/m² in 1 hour and around or above 20 litres/m² in 6 hours. Very locally, accumulations of the order of 30 or 40 litres/m² over the entire episode cannot be ruled out. Beneath the most active storm cells, strong gusts and/or hail will be possible,” writes the IRM.
All of Wallonia, Brussels and eastern Flanders are affected by this yellow alert. It begins this Saturday at 5 p.m. and ends on the night of Saturday to Sunday.
Be careful.
