Thunderstorms and strong winds are the most prominent features of the weather forecast for Friday.
In this context, the General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for Friday, thunderstorms with local hail in the High and Middle Atlas mountains, their eastern slopes, the eastern region and eastern Rif, while the weather will remain relatively hot in the far southeast and south of the country.
During the morning and night, low, somewhat dense clouds will form, accompanied by fog banks near the coasts. This, in addition to dust flying locally in the eastern region, the southeast, and also in the southern regions.
It is expected that relatively strong winds will be recorded on the central coasts, the southeast of the country, the eastern region, the Anti-Atlas regions and the southern provinces.
Minimum temperatures will range between 24 and 30 degrees in the southeast and south of the desert regions, and will be between 13 and 19 degrees in the Atlas, the Rif, the Souss region, and the northern and central interior plains, and will range between 17 and 23 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.
Temperatures will also drop during the day.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast and in the Strait, slightly rough to rough north of Mahdia, and rough to very rough in the south.
