Literature lovers will get their money’s worth starting Friday, when Mayor Dr. Maximilian Bieri opens the traditional “Hanau reads a book” event with the writer Fatma Aydemir. At an unusual location, the articulated bus hall of the Hanau tram on Daimlerstrasse, the author will present her family novel “Dschinns” at 7 p.m. There will be appropriate music and various sweets. Anyone who would like to attend the event is asked to register in advance by email to stadtbibliothek@hanau.de.
