A professional Algerian drone photographer was able to document this “crazy” adventure, as some described it, of a professional athlete from his homeland, on the coastal “Ras Carbon” mountain in the Algerian state of Bejaia.
This site is considered among the most beautiful and charming tourist sites in the region, as it enjoys a comprehensive view of the sea.
The mountain is located north of the port of Bejaia and is part of the Goraya National Park, which was classified as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2004, due to its exceptional environmental and aesthetic riches, including the Barbary macaque that lives in the forests of this park, according to the official website of the Goraya National Park. .
Algerian adventurer and mountain biker, Bichou Nebri, described to CNN Arabic the feelings he felt during this perilous adventure, saying: “It was a tremendous feeling with all the spaces in the path around me, it takes a lot of adrenaline and confidence to go through that experience.”
In an interview with CNN in Arabic, Algerian photographer Belgrade Hakim explains that he was keen, during his aerial documentation of the experience, to highlight the famous tourist site “Ras Carbon” from a unique perspective.
The filming process was not without challenges, as Hakim’s “drone” was chasing the adventurer Bisho in the midst of strong winds.
Hakim points out that the narrow path made the experience of aerial photography more difficult, as making any small mistake in directing the drone meant losing it in the depths of the sea.
The video clip that Hakim documented received widespread interaction from the pioneers of the “Instagram” platform, according to the Algerian photographer, noting that his followers were divided between two teams: “Those who found the experience completely insane, dangerous and irresponsible, while some admired this risk and the courage of the adventurer to take this. difficult challenge.”
