The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday (15/07). The 16-year-old, accompanied by a 20-year-old, were outside the club when the 16-year-old attacked and injured the 19-year-old, who was in the same place. During the bloody episode, the 20-year-old simply watched what was happening, without stopping the 16-year-old for a moment. Instead, the 20-year-old picked up the sharp object, which had fallen to the ground, and together with the 16-year-old escaped, leaving the 19-year-old seriously injured and covered in blood on the ground.
At the same time, the said violent incident was noticed by regarding 10 people, who were not involved in it. In fact, according to information, the events that took place were recorded by a camera of a portable device and the relevant video material came into the possession of the Y.A.P. and confiscated. The 19-year-old was transported by ambulance to the emergency room of the Tzanios Hospital, where she remains hospitalized. As diagnosed by the treating doctors, the blows she had received caused 2 serious lacerations on her torso, which required immediate surgery as her vital organs were affected.
At approximately 07:00 in the morning, a crew of a patrol vehicle received an order from the Immediate Action Center to go to the Tzanio Hospital of Piraeus, for a reported incident of a person being beaten. There, the 20-year-old was found, who was initially brought to the Y.A.P. and was subsequently arrested as his involvement in the incident emerged. His clothes and shoes, which he was wearing when he was brought in and which can be seen in the mentioned video footage, were confiscated, while the object that the 16-year-old used once morest the victim was not located. A 16-year-old girl was also arrested, as was her mother for neglecting her supervision.
