Dr. Joe Joseph
The LDF candidate for the Thrikkakara constituency is Dr. S.S. Joe decided on Joseph. A native of Vazhakkala, Thrikkakara, he holds an MBBS from Kottayam Medical College, an MBBS from SCB Medical College, an MD in General Medicine and a DM in Cardiology from the All India Medical Institute, Delhi. He is part of the heart transplant department at Lizzie Hospital.
He writes articles on health issues in periodicals. His work during the floods has been notable and has received awards. He is the author of the book Heartfelt Doctor.
