During the night of Monday to Tuesday, around 2:30 a.m., three young people who were traveling from Saint-Gérard (Mettet) to Lesve (Profondeville) aboard a Mitsubishi Colt, went off the road on the National 951.
In the descent at the entrance of the village, the car bit the roadside before hitting a truck which was traveling in the opposite direction. The collision was extremely violent and left the three youngsters, all in their twenties, no chance. They were killed instantly, trapped in the heap of sheet metal.
The driver of the truck, meanwhile, is extremely shocked, but unharmed.
