3-MeO-PCP is a phencyclidine derivative. This last product is also known as PCP or “angel dust” or zombie drug. This psychotropic is little known. It most often comes in powder form and is worth €40 per gram. On the sachets containing this product, it is well noted: “Not for human consumption” (not intended for human consumption). It is active from the milligram. At high doses, it causes seizures that can lead to death. This does not prevent some drug addicts from taking it. “It is only officially used for research”, notes Tiffany Gamain who chaired the hearing on Monday at the Mulhouse judicial court, where two defendants appeared following the death by overdose of a user of 3-MeO- PCP.
