The road was closed for several hours while they helped the victims and cleared the area.
A traffic accident involving several vehicles, including at least one truck and motorcycles, left three people dead and 14 injured on the Caracas-La Guaira highway.
This was announced by the journalist Román Camacho on his social networks. He added that unofficially he knew that two trucks fell into a ravine.
The incident occurred at the height of the El Limón sector and led to the closure of the highway that connects Caracas with La Guaira for a couple of hours.
According to the Vagas Reporta account on Twitter, the people who lost their lives were identified as: Karol Vivas Dávila, Johan Azuaje and Enrique Linares
Different police and rescue forces such as firefighters gathered at the scene to help those affected.
Apparently a truck ran out of brake and collided with the defense, which led to it running out of a van and crashing into five other vehicles, as well as a motorcycle.
The incident occurred at 2:00 pm on the Caracas-La Guaira highway, at kilometer 7, in the direction of La Guaira, when the heavy-duty vehicle lost its brakes and was left without a van when it hit the island.#VargasReporta @ReporteYa @infopublicave
