Three PEB officers are arrested for theft of strategic material

The officials along with two civilians were apprehended in Anzoátegui state following trying to evade a police commission.

Three officials of the Bolívar State Police (PEB) and two other citizens were captured for theft of strategic material in Anzoátegui state.

The uniformed men, aboard a patrol attached to the Unare Police Coordination Center of the PEB in Puerto Ordaz, headed towards the town of Palital on Wednesday, December 21.

A chief supervisor, an attached officer and a PEB officer, together with the two civilians, tried to evade a commission attached to the Bolivarian National Police at the Macapaima Citizen Service Point.

As they fled, an exchange of shots and a chase ensued, and the group that was designated as part of the “Los Orientales” gang was later apprehended.

In the procedure, which was notified to the Anzoátegui State Public Ministry, three bags of cables were seized.
