Three New Spectra Bass Join Jackson’s JS Series

The all-new Spectra Bass JS3V is a 35-inch scale 5-string bass. It has a poplar body and a bolt-on maple neck. The Indian laurel fingerboard has a compensated radius between 12 and 16 inches. It is set with 24 Jumbo frets.

The chrome hardware includes a Jackson HiMass bridge, in-house tuners and a black plastic nut. The electronics bring together two Jackson humbucking pickups with a medium output level. They are controlled by a general volume with push/pull to switch between passive electronics and active electronics, a Blend potentiometer and an active three-band equalization. A two-position switch allows you to split the microphones. Count €469 for this Spectra Bass JS3V offered in Indigo Blue, Satin Black, Silverburst and Walnut Satin finishes.

The Spectra Bass JS3 has the same features but in a 4-string version, with a scale length of 34 inches. It is offered at a price of €399 in Indigo Blue, Gloss Black, Metallic Red, Silverburst and Snow White finishes with gold hardware.

Finally, Jackson also introduces the Spectra Bass J2SP. It has a poplar body surmounted by a poplar burl table. There is a bolt-on maple neck and an Indian laurel fingerboard. Finally, the electronics consist of Jackson pickups (a Jazz Bass style in the bridge and a Precision Bass style in the neck) controlled by a master volume with push/pull to switch between active and passive electronics, a Blend potentiometer and a Bass Boost setting. Available in Black Burst and Blue Burst finishes, the Spectra Bass J2SP is priced at €369.
