As a result of the accusation made by the Public Ministry, three men were sentenced to 19 years and 3 months in prison for their responsibility in the sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl.
Such a situation occurred on November 25, 2017 in the 5 de Julio sector of the Manuel Monge municipality of Yaracuy state.
In the early morning hours of that day, the victim was at a party with some relatives, when she was approached by one of the aggressors, who under false pretenses informed her that her sister was looking for her and offered to accompany her to where she was.
Later, the aggressors moved the teenager to a ditch, where they began to take off her clothes and touch her on various parts of her body until they abused her anally and vaginally.
After the fact, the young woman moved to the place of the party and told her family what had happened to her.
The relatives went to a GNB command to file the complaint.
After investigation work and confirmation of the fact, the men were apprehended and placed at the order of the Public Ministry.
During the trial, the 8th prosecutor’s office of the aforementioned jurisdiction ratified the accusation once morest the aggressors for the crimes of sexual violence and conspiracy.
The Yaracuy Trial Court 1 issued the aforementioned sentence once morest the three subjects, who are being held in the Judicial Confinement Center of that state.
