Federal Minister of Education, Science & Research awards awards for outstanding master’s degrees to MCI alumni Mateus Enzenberg, Sandro Hiller and Lara Simoner

Innsbruck (OTS) The fact that years of quality work are bearing fruit is once once more confirmed at the MCI: three master’s graduates from the Entrepreneurial School® can look forward to this year’s award from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. Mateus Enzenberg, Sandro Hiller and Lara Simoner were honored for their outstanding academic achievements and master’s theses at the award ceremony in Vienna by Federal Minister Martin Polaschek.

Matthew EnzenbergMCI graduate of the Master’s Medical Technologies, developed a wearable and individually adaptive hand exoskeleton as part of his master’s thesis that supports the rehabilitation of hands and fingers. Sandro HillerMCI graduate with a master’s degree in environmental, process and energy engineering, researched the removal of micropollutants from municipal wastewater. Lara SimonerMCI graduate of the Masters in Corporate Governance & Finance, examined how climate-related transition risks affect the default rates of portfolios of Austrian banks.

Appreciation award from the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research

Every year, the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research awards the coveted award, which honors the best 55 diploma and master’s degrees from a total of around 16,000 degrees at all Austrian universities and colleges. In the higher education sector, 15 prizes were awarded nationwide this year.
