Three people were shot to death and at least 11 were wounded in a shooting Saturday night in Philadelphia, authorities said.
Some police officers who were patrolling the area of South Street in downtown Philadelphia heard multiple gunshots and witnessed multiple suspects fire into a large crowd shortly before midnight, Police Inspector DF Pace said during a conference call. of press.

Pace said police were asking business owners to review surveillance camera footage.
Police on Twitter asked people to avoid the area. South Street is known for its entertainment and nightlife with bars, restaurants, and other businesses.
