According to him, along with the construction of buildings, intellectual construction is also inevitable in any country, but unfortunately, the field of literature is not only neglected in our country, but awareness about it is also being neglected.

The organizer of the literature festival, President of Karachi Arts Council Ahmad Shah, while talking to Independent Urdu, said that ‘in order to get rid of insecurity and economic crisis in the country, there is a need to popularize literature among the people. Because nations that pay attention to intellectual development do not decline and problems can be solved only with the help of literature.’

According to Ahmad Shah, ‘For the sake of promotion of literature, we are organizing such a festival in Gwadar, Quetta, Islamabad after Lahore so that literature can be promoted.’

In this three-day Pakistan Literature Festival organized in Lahore, personalities from different walks of life will express their views on different topics.
