Three Brussels residents rob the house of a person who has been deceased for… 2 days in the province of Luxembourg

This Sunday, April 10, at the start of the evening, while the Gaume police zone was ensuring the smooth running and security of the Bellefontaine Carnival festivities, a call from the provincial Information and Communication Center (CIC) informs them to go to Jamoigne, in the town of Chiny, for a burglary still in progress, inside a house.

Due to the death of its owner two days earlier, no one is in the house. However, its alarm alerts the family of the deceased to “abnormal” activity.

Arrived on the spot, the police teams note the presence of an author in a vehicle, immobilized by several members of the family while the two other authors have already fled by the back of the house. The latter are immediately spotted and intercepted. The three individuals are currently deprived of their freedom and presented before the Investigating Judge of Arlon. The further investigation will be managed by the Federal Judicial Police (PJF) of Luxembourg. The three individuals are well known to the courts and come from the Brussels region.
