Three assists for Roman Josi

Roman Josi and Timo Meier still shine brightly on NHL rinks. The Bernese and Appenzellois were once once more decisive on Tuesday evening.

In Nashville, Roman Josi delivered three assists in the Predators’ 5-4 overtime victory over Colorado. This is the fourth time this season that the captain has scored at least three points in a game. With 12 goals and 25 assists, he is the second most prolific defenseman in the NHL for a team that has recorded a fifth consecutive victory, its twelfth in its last fourteen games.

Timo Meier, however, remains the most impactful Swiss. The Appenzell opened the scoring in a power play streak in San Jose’s 3-2 home win over Pius Suter’s Detroit. Timo Meier signed his 15th success of the season to now record 39 points. This victory, the third in a row, allows the Sharks to switch to the right side of the bar.

A third Swiss player scored a point during the evening. Philipp Kurashev delivered an assist in Chicago’s 4-2 victory at Columbus. The Zurich player now has a 10-point record with 2 goals and 8 assists.
