“Threats to the political body” –

New chapter in the Boccia-Sangiuliano affair. Following the complaint filed in recent days by the former Minister of Culture, the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit searched, on the orders of the Rome Prosecutor’s Office, the home of the entrepreneur and influencer in Pompeii. The Rome prosecutors, coordinated by the prosecutor Giulia Guccione, are investigating Maria Rosaria Boccia for “injury and threat or violence to a political body”: this is the crime for which the magistrates of the Rome Prosecutor’s Office have entered her in the register of suspects. The second crime, governed by article 338 of the penal code, provides for a prison sentence of one to seven years. This morning the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit searched the woman’s apartment in Pompeii, seizing computer material including the entrepreneur’s cell phone. Coordinating the investigations of the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit are the prosecutor Francesco Lo Voi and the additional prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini. In his home the Carabinieri seized a cell phone, a PC and the famous ‘spy’ glasses equipped with a camera, like those used to record the ‘walks’ inside the Chamber of Deputies. But there is also something new among the alleged crimes, which are “violence or threats to a political body and personal injury”.

In the detailed complaint filed in recent days by Gennaro Sangiuliano’s lawyer, the former director of Tg2 retraces the entire period of time in which his relationship with Boccia began, matured and ended, focusing on some details that the magistrates want to see clearly. Like the episode of the wound on Sangiuliano’s head, which was allegedly inflicted on him by the businesswoman during a heated argument that took place between 16 and 17 July. Maria Rosaria Boccia also allegedly proposed to Sangiuliano to stipulate a “confidentiality agreement”, according to which he would no longer have to contact her and she would never reveal their alleged relationship. A request that the former minister opposed.

And then there is the story of an alleged pregnancy, which Boccia allegedly communicated to Sangiuliano. In the meantime, on her Instagram profile the entrepreneur – who in recent days has published material relating to the story at a rapid pace, which has gone from the halls of power to those of justice – seems to have slowed down, with the exception of a smiling selfie with a song by Fiorella Mannoia in the background, with lyrics that seem to be a warning to some: “And I laugh with joy even for no reason, convinced that in the end everything comes back”.
