As the mayor of the resort wrote on his Facebook, a meeting was held with the heads of kindergartens and schools and all mandatory procedures were discussed again, how to behave in one or another inadequate situation and most importantly – how to ensure the safety of children and people working in institutions.
Those gathered were reminded of the algorithms of mandatory actions and how to coordinate them all. It should be noted that a cyber attack is not the only situation when both the heads of institutions and us may be forced to take certain non-routine actions.
“Yesterday we explained ourselves again, and today we made another important decision – video surveillance cameras will be installed in all six kindergartens in Palanga, the necessary funds from the municipal budget will be found and the cameras will be purchased,” the mayor wrote.
Video surveillance cameras are installed in all general education schools in Palanga, and now those institutions attended by the smallest residents of our city will also be equipped with them.
The previous decision was also confirmed, although considerable budget funds are needed for this, to leave and maintain not only day but also night watchmen positions in all educational institutions.
“The human factor of round-the-clock monitoring of both the territory of educational institutions and those who visit schools is now more important than ever. And it is especially important that they are not left unattended even during school holidays”, Š. Vaitkus wrote.
