On Thursday around 5 p.m. in the city of Salzburg on the station forecourt, a dispute developed between a 42-year-old Austrian and a 46-year-old Egyptian national for reasons that have not yet been clarified. In the course of the argument, the 46-year-old pulled out a knife and threatened the other party with it. The informed police arrested the perpetrator and was able to secure the knife. The perpetrator was subsequently taken to the Salzburg prison, the state police said.
