In the race to dethrone X (formerly Twitter), Threads has announced a series of new features. The latter include testing a view counter in posts and the ability to pin posts in profiles.
Although these features have been on the platform for a long time, Elon Musk and have already become a “trademark”, Threads is determined to keep up with the rival network and bring the same (or similar) solutions to its users.
Adam Mosserihead of Instagram and Threads, expressed enthusiasm for the view counts functionality, indicating that it gives users valuable insights into the reach and impact of their content.
According to him, view counters “give people a better understanding of their reach, and in general, more feedback is a positive thing.” Finally, Mosseri said that testing is happening with a small group of users.
Yesterday, we even commented that the social network announced the arrival of new features to try to attract even more users, including support for polls e GIFs in publications — bringing the platform even closer to its direct rival.
These new functions come following a flurry of other new features, such as a web version, an edit button and audio support, profile switching, an option to view liked posts, text search and a chronological feed.
