With the new feature, it is now possible to edit a post as many times as necessary within up to five minutes after publication. It’s worth noting, however, that Threads doesn’t show a post’s edit history — something X offers to allow transparency while avoiding misinformation.
The edit button is available both in the app and on the web and arrives around three months after the launch of the social network.
Zuckerberg also announced that Threads is gaining a feature called Voice Threads; As the name suggests, it makes it possible to publish audios — for which a caption/description will be automatically generated, which can also be edited.
The announcements come amid a potential feature launch Tendencies (Trends) in an effort to further compete with actively, according to information from TechCrunch.
