The low pressure system that has swept over the south and center of the province has caused thousands of outages since Saturday evening.

Gusts of 30 to 50 km/h as well as accumulations of heavy snow are the cause of these numerous breakdowns.
The regions most affected are Montérégie (11,746 outages) and Lanaudière (10,131 customers).
In total, as of 8:15 a.m., the Crown corporation had just under 30,000 outages across the province.
The provisional data provided by Environment and Climate Change Canada in the morning indicated snow accumulations by sector.
The cities of Joliette and Saint-Colomban recorded accumulations of 15 and 20 cm respectively, while Montreal received only 4 cm of snow.
The greater Quebec City region also received good amounts of snow.
