The Sease 107 prepares an operation with ambulances, interior hospitals and health posts for the protection of pilgrims.
They prepare a special health containment operation for the pilgrimage to the province of Catamarca and is headed by Sease 107 (Service of emergencies).
Nelson Mir, Director of Sease 107was present at newsreel 7 to explain the operation of the pilgrimage for the journey to the Virgin of the Valley. “We have been working to contain the community that is going to make a pilgrimage to the Virgin. We began to articulate with different hospitals that are in the area, Villa La Punta, Lavalle and San Pedro de GuasayanThey are hospitals that depend on the Directorate of the Interior”, indicated the director. “The idea is to provide more efficient coverage, shorten response times, and provide initial care to victims or people who suddenly become ill and need assistance,” he said.
Likewise, Nelson reported on the vehicles and booths available for the annual event and explained: “From Sease 107 we made 6 ambulances available plus one that performs an itinerant function during the day and the rest will be there 24 hours a day. The operation began today and will be covered until December 9. The hospital of San Pedro de Guasayán put two units and the hospital of Villa La Punta one more ambulance, giving a total of 10 ambulances in service for the community”.
