(PLO)- Thousands of people flocked to Tan Xuan Dinh, Chau Thanh district, Long An to attend the opening ceremony of the Vegetarian Festival, which was interrupted after 3 years of not being organized because of the Covid-19 epidemic.
On the afternoon of February 5 (on the full moon day of the first lunar month), the Vegetarian Festival at Tan Xuan communal house (Tam Vu town, Chau Thanh district, Long An) officially opened.

Attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Long An Provincial People’s Committee, representatives of agencies, branches, districts and provinces and cities and thousands of tourists.
The Vegetarian Festival is a traditional festival of the local people to pray for peace in the country, good weather and good weather. This is also an event to commemorate the heroes, martyrs and martyrs who died in the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans to save the country.
