Several thousand people demonstrated yesterday followingnoon in Graz and Bregenz once morest compulsory vaccination. According to the police, several people were reported in Graz and arrests were made at short notice. Two police officers were also injured. Another meeting or a march once morest a shift to the right, a lack of solidarity and pandemic mismanagement went without any significant incidents.
The first demonstration was held under the motto “Together for dignity, truth and humanity. Health without compulsory vaccination must be the goal”. Although the march and the gathering were generally peaceful, around 180 administrative notifications related to Covid-19 were made. According to the police, five people had to be arrested at short notice. Five court reports of resistance to state authority, assault by police officers and the prohibition law were reported to the public prosecutor’s office in Graz. In addition, over 300 identity checks were carried out.
At the second rally, which was not related to the first demonstration once morest compulsory vaccination, only a lower three-digit number of people took part. According to the police, only four reports of disregard for the mask requirement had to be filed and ten identity checks had to be carried out.
Protests in Bregenz
In Voralberg, too, people took to the streets yesterday once morest the Covid measures. Around 5,000 people protested once morest compulsory vaccination. There were longer traffic delays.
