The name added to the certificate was 1,019 characters long. It also had a middle letter of 36 letters. The authorities had to resize the certificate to add this new name to the certificate. When the baby’s full name was added, the birth certificate became two feet long. With this, the girl entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the owner of the longest name in the world.
She says no one has ever addressed her by her real name and that friends and family call her by the acronym Jamie. Jamie had to work hard to memorize his full name. According to The Mirror, they recorded their own name and listened to it over and over again.

A new law was passed in Texas after Jamie’s parents gave it this long name. It was a law that allowed only the names contained in the box in which the ‘name’ was to be entered on the birth certificate.
