Those important leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaf whose nomination papers were rejected

The stage of scrutiny of the nomination papers submitted by the candidates to participate in the general elections 2024 has been completed and on the last day the papers of several candidates of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been rejected.

The final lists of nomination papers accepted or rejected have been displayed according to which the papers of important leaders of the party including former Chairman PTI Imran Khan have been rejected.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nomination papers from NA-122 Lahore constituency and NA-89 Mianwali constituency were rejected.

On the other hand, the nomination papers of Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi were rejected from National Assembly Constituency NA-151 from Multan and National Assembly Constituency NA-214 from Tharparkar.

The papers of Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s son Zain Qureshi and daughter Mehr Bano Qureshi from NA 151 were also rejected, while the papers of Javed Hashmi, Jahangir Tareen, Amir Dogar from NA 149 were approved.

Azam Khan Swati’s nomination papers from Mansehra Constituency NA 15 have been rejected, Zulfi Bukhari’s papers from Attock NA 50 have also been rejected.

In a statement released on social media platform X, Zulfi Bukhari said, “They rejected my nomination papers on the grounds that my signature was forged and also kidnapped my lawyers, recommenders and supporters.” ‘.

The nomination papers of Ali Amin Gandapur from Dera Ismail Khan have also been rejected, while the papers of Ali Muhammad Khan from Mardan Takhtbhai NA22 have also been rejected.

Former Federal Minister Ali Muhammad Khan’s papers were rejected from National Assembly Constituency NA-23 in Mardan.

The nomination papers of Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate from PK-60 in Mardan, former MPA Iftikhar Ali Mashwani, were rejected.

In Mardan, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s candidate from PK-55, former MPA Tufail Anjum, and Tehreek-e-Insaf’s candidate from PK-56, former MPA Amir Farzand’s nomination papers were rejected.

Former provincial minister Atif Khan’s papers on PK 59 Mardan were rejected.

The names of Iftikhar Ali Mashwani, Tufail Anjum and Ameer Farzand and Atif Khan are not included in the final list while all the concerned returning officers have released the lists.

It should be remembered that the papers of former Federal Minister Murad Saeed were also rejected yesterday, he submitted papers from National Assembly Constituency NA-4.

The nomination papers of former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri from NA 263 constituency of Quetta were also rejected.

The papers of former minister Zartaj Gul and PTI candidate Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry from Wahari have also been rejected.

An objection was raised against Tahir Iqbal Chaudhry that he is involved in the insolvency of the Revenue Department and electricity theft, while a case is also going on against him in anti-corruption regarding misappropriation of government funds.

The nomination papers of Abdul Majeed Khan Niazi from Leh Constituency NA 181 were also rejected. Abdul Majeed Khan Niazi was elected MNA in 2018. are wanted and their endorsers and recommenders also could not appear before the Rating Officer.

Papers of Malik Umar Aslam Awan and Malik Hasan Aslam Awan from NA 87 have also been rejected.

The papers of Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Khurram Latif Khosa were also rejected, he had submitted papers from NA-122.
