The release of Thor 4 in Malaysia has been delayed. Originally scheduled for release on July 7, the film has been delayed by two weeks and will be released on July 21. The news was originally posted on Twitter by the leading cinema chain in Malaysia, Golden Curtain Cinemas (GSC), “Please note that the Malaysia release date of Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love & Thunder has been postponed by Disney until July 21, 2022.”

GSC also said that any spectators who pre-purchased tickets will receive a full refund. It’s unclear why Thor 4 was delayed in Malaysia.
According to IGN Southeast Asia, Malaysia enforces a strict policy of film censorship, and Malaysian authorities may be censoring some scenes in the film. Last month, Disney’s “Light Years” was banned from release.
However, at the moment these are all speculations.
“Thor: Love: And Thunder” was considered decent by the few critics who saw it, with some commenting that the film was crazier and more comical than Taika Waititi’s “Thor 3.”
