Thomas Gottschalk: He meets the Minions as a voice actor

From the lovable, stupid little helpers from the Despicable Me series, the yellow Minions have made it to the stars of their own animated films. In the latest installment of them, Minions: In Search of the Mini Boss, which opens in cinemas on June 30th, they get the support of an entertainer legend. Because mister “bet that..?” Thomas Gottschalk (71) stuck behind the microphone for the German dubbing and lent his voice to a character in it.

No, Gottschalk does not mutate into a yellow good-for-nothing. He will speak to the martial arts-proven villain Wilder Knucklecracker – the great role model of Gru, who is still in villain training. He was once once more set to music by Oliver Rohrbeck (57).

It’s all regarding this

“Minions – In Search of the Mini-Boss” tells the history of the films that have been released so far. The action takes place in the 1970s, Gru is just twelve years old. Nevertheless, he is determined to become the world’s greatest villain – with moderate success at first. But then he gets to know the hyperactive minions and together they forge the master plan. Too bad that Gru is kidnapped shortly followingwards and it’s up to his clumsy assistants to free him.
