This year’s New Year’s concert of Zoltán Mága can be seen on the Danube on Saturday

Due to a program change, both parts of this year’s New Year’s concert by violinist Zoltán Mága Dunán will be shown on Saturday evening, February 3rd.

The more than two-hour show was recorded in the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena in front of a full house, with the participation of excellent performers – the Press and Marketing Office of the MTVA told MTI on Friday.

As it is written, on the first day of the new year, on January 1, 2024, Zoltán Mága, the violinist who won the Ferenc Liszt and Prima Primissima prizes, opened the year once more with a large-scale concert. The event is now traditionally broadcast by the public media.

The production was realized with the participation of the nation’s actors, internationally renowned artists and outstanding creators of the Hungarian light music scene, the Budapest Primarius Symphony Orchestra and the Budapest Gipsy Virtuosos, as well as an adult and children’s choir of several hundred people, as well as a dance troupe.

The audience was able to see the New Year’s gala concert for the sixteenth time in the name of peace and unity. As a unity of the Hungarians of the world, children from Transcarpathia, Transylvania, Vojvodina and the Highlands stood up for the peace of Europe and the world in a joint production with the artists of the gala concert.

The concert will be shown on Saturday in two consecutive parts, at 9:15 p.m. and 10:25 p.m. on the Danube.
