What brought you back to Medellin?

“We have been working with Esika for more than six months and it was the excuse to be in Medellín. People, especially from abroad, think I’m from here, they swear I’m paisa (I’m from Barranquilla, which makes me feel very proud and satisfied with the work that was done in the queen of flowand that makes the affection for this land greater”.

How vain is he…?

“A perfume cannot be missing, I am one of few accessories, a very simple chain and a watch, in my case perfumes become like a jewel, something to wear and for us it is very important for the conquest. I am a fan of fashion, I am aware of trends, of prestigious brands, I like to be in the game, dress appropriately for each occasion.

What acting projects are you currently in?

“I just arrived from Europe, from Spain, I was filming the second season of a Spanish series, very happy to take the Colombian quota, I can’t give much information, but it’s an original Netflix production.”

Did that international passage reveal it…?

“One as an actor always has that in mind, wanting to go out, expand the work, learn from other people and productions and ways of working, now with all platforms it is much more possible, the world is already smaller.”

What do you enjoy most regarding Medellín, where The Queen of Flow?

“Medellín is part of my history, since I was a child I come a lot, I have family here, my grandmother lives in La Ceja, I grew up a bit in this city so I feel very identified. I’m from Cali and the fair is just rumba, but here it’s more versatile, I loved the Silleteros Parade and everything that revolves around flowers. It is one of my favorite cities and every time I come it is like being in the land. Whenever I travel, now that I am living outside the country, I have to come to see my grandmother, to see mine”.

How vain is she…?

“I like to look pretty and well, but the first thing is to be healthy, never look good above feel good. It is useless to have a mask if nothing happens inside, self-esteem is very important. Feeling happy is a light that nothing else can give you. I also believe that being beautiful is not resembling a stereotype, “.

Is she very careful, is she very strict?

“I exercise not to have a great body, but to calm my head, as well simply to not have a bad day, for me feeling good is very important, both emotionally and physically.”
Why did you decide to cut your hair?

“I thought regarding it a lot, I cut it to make a film in Argentina and when I did it I said to myself ‘why hadn’t I done it before’. I haven’t let it grow, every time it half grows I trim it more, I liked it a lot, I rediscovered myself, I looked in the mirror and said ‘oh, Carolina, hello, nice to meet you’”.

What projects are you currently on?

“I have just finished in Argentina, where I live, a season of theater in Corrientes Street and I am going to start a short tour through some provinces. In January I return to the season once more, doing my thing in a country that has opened its doors to me thanks to The Queen of Flow”.
