The carnage of 2024 continues. Today, it is the turn of a former studio close to Sony, behind the PSP opus of God of War, the spin-off Daxter and The Order: 1886, to close its doors.

In truth, the studio had already been suffering for many months. The teams suffered several rounds of layoffs before Meta finally decided to close the studio permanently in order to respect the new budget cap of Reality Labs (formerly Oculus VR), Meta’s subsidiary dedicated to the development of virtual reality. The remaining employees are now encouraged by Meta to apply to the other teams of Oculus studios.
