This Sunday, the AirPods Pro 2 finally get a big price drop

Apple launched the AirPods Pro 2 last year. These are undoubtedly among the best noise-canceling wireless headphones on the market, but their recent release did not allow them to be had at a good price. Finally, until today, since we find them this Sunday only at 234.99 euros instead of 299.99 euros.

Where to buy

Apple AirPods Pro 2 at the best price?

« Same same, but different »

Just taking a look at the AirPods Pro 2, it’s almost impossible to find any differences with the first model of Apple’s wireless noise canceling headphones. At the same time, the design was already excellent and comfortable, thanks in particular to its semi-in-ear silicone tips, now 4 in number, since the Californian brand has added size XS in addition to the usual S, M and L.

The only detail that allows you to recognize this new version with the other is the location of the notch on the right side of the case, allowing you to attach a strap (unfortunately sold separately). The atria are also now entitled to touch control, to increase or decrease the volume by sliding your finger on the stem in addition to pressing once to play/pause. It should also be noted that Apple’s new wireless headphones are IPX4 certified for water and dust resistance.

Better noise reduction, same for autonomy

The big news is at the sound level, since Apple promises that active noise reduction is twice as efficient as on the first AirPods Pro of the name. But the most important is undoubtedly the transparency mode which now becomes adaptive, which means that it lets voices through while filtering out deafening noises such as cars passing in the street, for example. It’s a new feature that you can’t find anywhere else at the moment and we can’t wait to test it to tell you more. Spatialized audio is still there, but this time in a personalized way by using your iPhone’s camera to film your ears with the headphones, and thus improve spatialization.

To finish with the improved sound quality, we also note the presence of the new H2 chip with a brand new speaker, just like the integrated amplifier, in order to allow the use of the 48 kHz frequency as well as Bluetooth 5.3. The rendering should then be much better than the classic AirPods Pro, not to mention the promise of a more stable wireless connection than before. On the autonomy side, Apple is doing even better than three years ago by announcing 6 hours of autonomy with a single charge for the headsets, and up to 30 hours with the case equipped with a Lightning port and compatible with MagSafe.
