An unprecedented partnership
Since June 20, all EVE Online players can download a completely free module allowing Excel to be integrated into the game. This module will therefore allow the software information to be processed within Excel and to be sorted according to your accounts/characters in order to facilitate their analysis.
Concretely, this integration should greatly improve the experience of players, regardless of their profile. Most of the game’s data – concerning exploration, mining, freight, PvP, corporations or even players – can be directly retrieved and transcribed into spreadsheets. As stated by CCP Games, the arrival of this integration is a first for a video game. The module was developed in direct partnership with the Microsoft Excel teams, some of whose members are also enthusiastic Capsuleers.
