Flyers in Ukrainian, promotion of language courses, one-stop shop for informing refugees, Forem, Actiris and VDAB want to facilitate the integration of Ukrainian refugees into the job market.

Belgium expects to soon welcome thousands of Ukrainian refugees. Upon arriving on Belgian soil, they will automatically benefit from temporary protection, a status that will allow them to stay and work, if they wish, for one year in our country. And currently, 5400 Ukrainians are staying with us according to IBSA data, of which 1700 live in Brussels, 2800 in Flanders and 900 in Wallonia. At Actiris, 99 Ukrainian job seekers are registered to date, a figure which does not yet take into account the refugees who have just arrived on Belgian soil. Before looking for a job, the priority remains to find a roof.
