Ashampoo has released a free version of its One-Click Photo Optimizer software photo editing and automatic optimization.
For content creators on a budget and little time, FREE photo optimizer (opens in a new tab) – yes, with all caps – is designed to clean up a photo’s exposure, color temperature, sharpness, blemishes, and contrast.
Free photo editing software also includes essential editing tools like cropping, rotating, and resizing. Like its paid counterpart, the product screenshots show a slider that allows users to see the before and following.
What is Photo Optimizer Free?
Photo Optimizer Free is Ashampoo’s gateway to Photo Optimizer 9. The company has always given away free tools: It already offers free versions of Uninstaller, WinOptimizery Alternativa a WinZipZip FREE.
The latest free tool to join the stable promises one-click automatic image enhancements. The algorithms will check and correct problems such as overexposure. Ashampoo claims that the results are “optimal”.
While the easy-to-use software is, in the company’s words, “ideal for beginners and anyone who doesn’t want to spend time learning the ins and outs of image optimization,” users who prefer manual photo editing also benefit from the program’s suite of tools.
Features include adaptive blurring, face blemish removal, adding limited effects, and tone curve adjustment. Users can also run automatic optimization, before continuing to adjust the image by hand.
More advanced tools like perspective altering and adaptive sharpening are locked behind an upgrade paywall.
We had already highlighted an earlier version of Photo Optimizer as one of the best free photo editors, praising its clean, ad-free interface and accessible toolset, but we didn’t like its glitchy auto-optimization. Hopefully the new Photo Optimizer Free has fixed these issues.
Ashampoo Photo Optimizer FREE is available for download for Windows 10 / Windows 11.
