Lenovo has made its Xiaoxin Pro AI official in China. This 16-inch ultrabook will be one of the very first on the market to rely on Intel’s new Meteor Lake processors, the launch of which in China is now imminent.

The information concerning it is currently very fragmentary, but the Xiaoxin Pro AI will in any case be one of the first laptops on the market to be powered by Intel’s brand new Meteor Lake chips, expected in China on December 15th. The device was in fact made official by Lenovo on December 4, through a publication on the Chinese social network Weibo.
We learn that this new model will indeed be the first laptop PC from the brand equipped with the new “Core Ultra” processors from the American giant, and that it aims (like most of its peers) to offer “ the best performance, the best scalability and the most robust autonomy ».
A 16-inch machine… for the moment dedicated to the Chinese market
The visuals shared by Lenovo tell us very little about the product’s technical sheet, but we still discover that this new Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro AI benefits from a 16-inch format allowing the inclusion of a large trackpad and ‘a full-size keyboard (with numeric keypad). This model should also count on an aluminum or alloy chassis, relatively thin and potentially light, but also benefit from features linked to AI… as its nickname suggests.

Expected in China at the beginning of 2024, the machine will in any case be available in three versions, equipped respectively with Intel Core Ultra 5, Ultra 7 and Ultra 9 processors (according to Intel’s new nomenclature).
Note, however, that we still do not know the precise specifications of Intel’s new chips, and that the price placement of this Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro AI has not been made official either. We must therefore refer to a leak which revealed, in advance, some of the first Meteor Lake laptop PCs to get a first idea.
According to NotebookCheckthe Lenovo Xiaoxin Pro AI could thus be launched at around 1100 dollars in Core Ultra 5 version, and around 1400 dollars for its Core Ultra 7 version. We would therefore be faced with a rather high-end product, even if it will be necessary obviously wait for the complete presentation of the device to be sure.
